Volunteering is Rewarding

The Guam Memorial Hospital Volunteers Association (GMHVA) is a nonprofit organization of dedicated people, who, through their gift of time, talent, and personal interest, supplement the professional hospital staff in caring for the comfort and welfare of the patients, personnel, and visitors to the hospital.



Community First Guam Federal Credit Union donated towards GMHVA Thanksgiving Fundraiser



Community First Guam Federal Credit Union donated $1,500 towards GMHVA Thanksgiving Fundraiser. Proceeds from this TR will be used to purchase 2 much needed equipment for the GMH Respiratory Care Department. Shown making the check presentation, on Nov 7, to GMHVA’s Thanksgiving Raffle Committee, is Gerald Cruz, Community First Federal Credit Union President and CEO.

South Pacific Petroleum Corp (SPPC) donated to GMHVA



South Pacific Petroleum Corp (SPPC) donated a check for $1500 to GMHVA. Additionally, SPPC donated $500 in gas cards to be used as prizes on the volunteers’ upcoming Thanksgiving Raffle. All donations and profits from this fundraiser will go towards purchase of 2 equipment for the Respiratory Care Dept at GMH. IP&E ( Isla Petroleum & Energy ) donated a check for $1000 to GMHVA Thanksgiving Fundraiser.



IP&E ( Isla Petroleum & Energy ) donated a check for $1000 to GMHVA Thanksgiving Fundraiser. Cash donations and Thanksgiving Raffle proceeds will go towards purchasing 2 much needed equipment for the GMH Respiratory Care Department. GMHVA Receives $25,000 Grant

GMHVA is the recipient of a $25,000 grant from the GEDA Qualifying Certificate Community Contribution Grant Program to provide baby gift kits to uninsured, MIP, or Medicaid mothers.  The kits will include reusable diapers, receiving blankets, thermometer, nasal aspirator, comb and brush which will be given to eligible mothers upon discharge from GMH.  Special thanks goes to Jina Rojas and Jo Mesa for their help with the grant application.
